In 2015, she performed with her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna Christie at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was a part of nine episodes in 2016 of ABC's drama The Family. Her father played her on the ABC show Scandal. The actress also portrayed her young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The role was selected via auditions the fact that she had a deep connection with it.
