Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16th, 1958) is an American actress. Her career in acting began at the beginning of the 1980s and was first noticed for the part she played in Siobhan Rooney from 1982 to 1986 in the daytime drama Ryan's Hope. Catherine Willows is her most popular role in the CBS's police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a TV series that ran from 2000 through 2013, as well as Immortality, a television movie made in 2015. She reprised the role in its sequel Vegas (2022-present). Helgenberger is also known for her role as K.C. Koloski on China Beach, an ABC Drama China Beach (1988-91) which gave her the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series. In 2017, she joined the daytime talk show The View where she co-hosted until 2021 and received Four Daytime Emmy award nominations for her efforts. McCain is also a Daily Mail journalist after her three-year stint on The View.
